Plight of the Cursed

Plight of the Cursed is a short, 11-page, freeform storygame about playing as outcasts trying to disguise their own identity and get by in a world that despises them. All you need to play are some dice, a regular deck of playing cards, some paper and pencils, and a group of friends.

What is a storygame? A storygame is a rules-light tabletop RPG, where the focus is less on leveling up and fighting monsters than getting together to create a story with a group of friends.

This story, for instance, is one that will be fraught with intrigue. As one of the Cursed trying to blend in with "normal" society, you are trying to keep your Curse a secret. Of course, with the Agency trying to track them down, it won't be an easy task.

The game is on a time limit. There is one deck of cards that everyone draws from. Once it runs out, the game is over. Did your character survive? Or were they caught? Play to find out!
